And The Legend Grows

U.S. Reed / Darrell Walker (AP Photo)Man...25 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 10 years old and on the living room floor. Usually my job was to adjust the volume or change the channel when my Dad wanted to watch one of the other four stations that we got over the antenna.

But not this day. No one dared touch the dial on March 14, 1981. We were too busy watching NCAA Tournament history...and experiencing a day that will live in the annals of Razorback sports forever.

You can relive it all over again here: U.S. Reed Makes "The Shot".

Bob Holt does a little reliving of U.S. history in today's Democrat-Gazette.

It's number 16 on the USA Today list of the greatest 63 games in NCAA Tournament history.

Joey Johnston of the Tampa Tribune says it has become "heavenly in hog lore."

And Michael Wilbon believes it's a part of a day that lives in NCAA upset history.
