Mortensen To Transfer?

Bo Mattingly of KNWA reports tonight that backup quarterback Alex Mortensen is considering a transfer to either Louisville or Georgia Southern.

According to the report, Mortensen has received the required permission from Arkansas to evaluate other schools. If he were to leave, he would become the second Razorback quarterback to transfer after Cole Barthel left the team last month.

Mortensen, who is from Fairburn, Georgia, is the son of ESPN NFL reporter Chris Mortensen.
