Fox Sports Has Hogs At #8 Seed

Michael Lazurus of FoxSports.com puts the Hogs at the #8 seed in the Minneapolis region against Creighton.

Wednesday night's game against Mississippi State was a lot of fun after I managed to get to the arena. Traffic was unbelievable. My normal 20 minute drive to lot 56 took about an hour. It seemed there were massive numbers of people walking in late or outside looking for tickets.

The Hogs displayed their fight and intensity up until the 12 minute point of the second half. Loved the double technicals and Heath stomping around the sidelines. At the 12 minute mark those other guys from a few games ago swapped back into the Razorback uniforms just to remind us of how we had been playing most of the conference season. Suddenly we were taking quick shots and the defensive intensity just totally dropped off. Hopefully the reminder will serve a useful purpose for this team for the next few games. When you let down, people can come back on you. There is a way this team has to play to be successful.

It was good to see the Hog fans so excited and attendance so good. The traffic people have some work to do.

And yes, I had to sit in my own seats for the first time this year.

It won't matter after tonite, because a let down against Georgia is coupled with a loss to Georgia, will get us back to where we were a few weeks ago and then one and out in the SEC tournament. Now we are stuck with Heath for another year!
