Mustain To Re-Open Recruitment

Back on August 15th, Razorback fans were on cloud nine.

Now that cloud has turned dark and ominous as posts on numerous Internet message boards confirm tonight that Springdale (Ark.) High School quarterback Mitch Mustain has backed away from his verbal commitment to the Hogs and will visit other schools.

During his state championship winning season, Mustain has continued to be ranked by several services as the number one quarterback in the country.

And just earlier this evening, Mustain was announced as the 2005-06 Gatorade National Football Player of the Year.

As you might imagine, HogBlogger and I will have much more to say on this in the days and weeks ahead. Until then, all I can say right now is...shit.
