"Haven't really resolved anything yet," Nutt said. "We're still discussing, still talking about it."

Nutt said Johnson, redshirt freshman Alex Mortensen, freshman Cole Barthel and freshman Casey Dick split time with the first team during Sunday's practice. He hoped to narrow down the competition soon.

Nutt even said Arkansas would consider using more than one quarterback -- and might make changes in its offensive scheme.

"It might be a two-quarterback system," Nutt said. "It might be a little more option."

Oh dear Lord. Of course, I remember when we played four quarterbacks and tried to run the option against UNLV to start the 2001 season. That experiment lasted all of one game.
