2005-06 SEC Basketball Media Days

SECSports.com: Arkansas Razorbacks
Head Coach Stan Heath

Season expectations...
"I expect this to be a good team. I expect for us to contend for this league (title). That's the way I want our team to think. I want us to contend for the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Tournament is a stamp. It's something we're hungry for."

On junior guard Ronnie Brewer...
"I expect him to provide more leadership. I expect him to make his teammates better. If we're trailing late in the game, we'll jump on his back. He's done so many things. Now, it's time to take it to the next level."

Guard philosophy...
"We're probably more old school with guards that can multi-task."

Recent changes in coaching...
"The demands for on your time are greater. There's (the need for) immediate gratification for players. Fans' expectations are heightened. There is so much information and talk - that speeds up things so much. Things spin so quickly and the pressure to win quickly exists everywhere. The minute a kid gets on campus or a coach is hired - the clock is ticking (to win)."
