Houston Nutt:

(On facing Alabama) "After a tough weekend, we got back on the field and had a good day of practice yesterday. Guys had good spirits and good attitudes and they were ready to go back to work today."

(On confidence of the team) "Anytime that you lose and you lose the way we did, there is going to be a confidence factor problem. They only way to cure that is to get back on the field and get better and move on."

(On USC's offense) "If you look around and you see that they scored 55 against Oklahoma and they had Arizona State down 35 to 7, I don't think there is a way you can stop them. As long as Matt Leinart is healthy and Reggie Bush is healthy there isn't a way. I just don't see it."

Mike Shula:

(On facing Arkansas) "We had a pretty good practice yesterday. We are nicked up, but not too bad. We have to be ready, because we have an emotional Arkansas team coming in here."
